JAZZ MIGRATION 2011: THE CONCERT VIDEO AVAILABLE ONLINE
On 30 November 2010 took place the opening concert of the tour Jazz Migration 2011 to the Dynamo of Banlieues Bleues. For the tenth years of the program, Afijma produced a video recording of the concerts of SIDONY BOX, Q and MÉTAL-O-PHONE, in partnership with ARTE LIVE WEB. These videos, important promotional tool for groups Jazz Migration, are now posted on the website of ARTE and on the AFIJMA website!
JAZZ MIGRATION 2011: RESULTS
For ten years now, Jazz Migration has sought to publicise jazz musicians as part of Afijma festivals and, as of 2008, on the stages of clubs in the FSJ. 30 groups have thus participated in more than 300 concerts since 2002.
In 2011 the three band which were chosen are SIDONY BOX, Q and MÉTAL-O-PHONE.

JAZZ MIGRATION 2011: COOPERATION WITH THE FSJ CONTINUES
For the fourth year, FSJ (Fédération des Scènes de Jazz) is associated to AFIJMA concerning Jazz Migration . This network is a gathering of 28 jazz clubs, that are présent on the french territory.
Since 2008, this partnerchip is very important and a real opportunity to increase the notoriety for the three winner bands.
Thanks to this collaboration, the young musicians of SIDONY BOX, Q and MÉTAL-O-PHONE will play about 35 concerts in some of the most important festivals and clubs in France.
LES CAHIERS DE L'AFIJMA: "MONTRER LE JAZZ"
The first issue of “Les Cahiers de l'AFIJMA: Montrer le Jazz “ is now available. The official publication took place on Saturday, October 20 th during the festival Jazzebre.
This text, written by Jacques Panisset, assisted by Josephine Grollemund, is going back on the work of the task group “Exhibition”, led by Muriel Lignon, Bernard Morel, Yann Causse, Philippe Ochem, Jacques Panisset.
The AFIJMA is as much an actors' network as a place of intellectual production. Taking a global perspective of situation, analyzing, meeting, discussing, revealing the sense, here are the objectives of this publication.
