The French Nordic Jazz Transit has been initiated in 2002 in order to reinforce relationship and artistic exchanges between France and Scandinavia, that is to say Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
In that regard numerous festivals of the Afijma have therefore invited scandinavian musicians in order to introduce them to the French public.

On the other hand the Afijma finances the travel expenses of the French musicians who are scheduled in the nothern area venues
